I always loved to listen to music. My favorite genre would definitely be rock, any kind of rock. To me, rock music is something that will never get outdated. I'm not against rap music, but a rap song is a hit for at most a year, then it is generally forgotten. That is never the case for rock music, certain songs can last decades. Another thing I love about rock music is guitar, I love the sounds it can make, the ways it can be controlled and individualized. I got my first guitar at age 9, and I was determined to learn to play. Now I can play guitar better than most people would believe. I love just playing how I feel and making up guitar solos on the spot. My idols of guitar are Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Mayer, and John Frusciante. As you can see, I play a wide range of rock music, and I love it all. If I hear a song that has excellent guitar in it, I will try to play it. Some of the songs I love to play are Slow Dancing in a Burning Room by John Mayer, Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam, Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns 'n' Roses, Can't Stop by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Santeria by Sublime. Playing guitar is something I could do my whole life, and I would never Get Tired of it
